John Joseph Matthew Tagliaferri, 75, went home with Jesus on July 2, 2022 after complications in battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
John was a hard worker and a friend to many. He was a retired commercial electrical contractor and co-owner of United Electric Corporation.
John was a jack of all trades and a giver. He was passionate about helping others. He, with two others, started a ministry called the ROMANS through Lexington Presbyterian Church. They met every Thursday to help those in need within the community.
John is predeceased by his parents, Quido Tagliaferri and Paulene Filippino Tagliaferri. John leaves behind his devoted wife, Debra Tagliaferri, their two children, Matthew Tagliaferri (Jessica), and Rebecca Turner (Charles), and five grandchildren. John is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Falchi (Tony), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved greatly.
Visitation will be on July 14, 2022, between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm at Lexington Presbyterian Church (246 Barr Rd. Lexington, SC 29072). A memorial service will follow.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lexington Presbyterian Church, memo: Romans to continue the work of John’s ministry or to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
