Obituary of Claudia V. Hughes

1947-2022

Claudia Vondell Hughes, 74, of Charleston, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022.

Claudia was born on December 26, 1947, daughter of the late Claude and Mildred Martin. She was a long time caregiver to many individuals before retiring. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her children: Karen Parker, Brian Keefer and Mark Keefer; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and siblings: Claude Martin (Patsy) and Kenny Martin (Lisa); and a host of nieces, a nephew, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11 AM at Simplicity Funeral Home at 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC 29456. Visitation with the family from 10-11AM.
