Obituary of Jonathan Howard Osborne

Jonathon “Howard” Osborne, 54, of Bluffton, SC, passed away on July 29,2022 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah after succumbing to injuries sustained in an accident.

Howard was born on June 13,1968 to Ralph and Lynn Osborne in Hampton, SC. After Howard graduated from Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, PA in 1987, he went on to achieve his degree in culinary arts at an institute in Pittsburgh, kickstarting a 28-year career as a chef, head cook, and private chef. He practiced the culinary arts he loved in Pittsburgh, Washington, DC, Hilton Head, and Bluffton, creating exquisite and succulent dishes for clientele, friends, and family.

Howard was an avid fisherman and golfer. He enjoyed traveling to music venues and festivals; and he loved the boondocking life of camping in the backcountry in our nations’ beautiful state and national parks. His laughter, humor, and love of good times was contagious and will be sorely missed, as will his wonderful haute cuisine!

Howard was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Lynn Osborne. He is survived by his brother and wife, Brad and Liz Osborne, their children, nieces Laura and Sarah, nephew John and brother and wife, Wes and Kelly Osborne, and their children, nephews Andrew and Tommy.
