Timmy was born on July 26, 1960, at Monck Corner hospital, as the son of Buck and Betty Winningham. He started his driving career while he was in high school as a bus driver, where he met his wife, Marti. When he met Marti, he knew she was the one and they married young. He also leaves behind his siblings, including his brothers, Don Winningham (his wife Linda), Tommy Winningham, and his sisters Patricia Taylor, Dianne Dennis (her husband Bryan). Clyde was predeceased by his parents George and Betty Winningham.
