Nancy Ann Brown, beloved sister, joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on September 9th, 2022. She passed peacefully in her home in Margaritaville in Hardeeville, South Carolina after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on January 1st, 1947 in Centralia, IL, the daughter of Harry and Barbara (Clarida) Brown.
She attended college at Northwest Missouri State College and graduated with a degree in Political Science. She loved to travel and lived in many states in her life before moving to Houston, Texas where she resided for many years. She moved to Hardeeville in 2019 where she blossomed. Nancy lived life out loud! She was brave, strong, caring and very generous. She had her own style which was unique as she was. There was not a person who she could not talk too.
Nancy’s causes are Gary Sinise foundation Disabled Veterans Services, Houston SPCA, and Doctors Without Borders.
She is survived by brother Michael Brown (wife Susie-Ezell Brown) Houston TX, brother Ross Meloan (wife Sharion) Murray KY, sister Patty Morton Springfield Ill, Uncle Bill Clarida (wife Gale) GA, and numerous nieces and nephews, Melaine Brown Hickox (husband Seth Hickcox), Kyla Hickcox, Michaela Ezell, Adam Meloan, (wife Adrea Meloan), Brooks Meloan, Mason Meloan, Graham Meloan, Amy Meloan Swift (husband Dale Swift), Tinley Swift, Jeremy Morton, Joshua Morton, (wife Maria Morton), Jackson Morton, and Lucas Morton.
A Celebration of Life at 671 Coral Reef Way, Hardeeville SC, will be announced at a later date.
