Obituary of Karen Blaton Sandlin

Karen Blaton Sandlin, born August 6, 1962 in Florence, SC passed peacefully at her home on Friday, September 23rd, 2022.

She was a remarkable mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Karen enjoyed movies, music and dancing. She relaxed playing Bingo and shopping. She was a tough woman who always stood her ground. If you needed help she was always their for you.  She loved her children and was fiercely committed to her family. She will be painfully missed and lovingly remembered.

Karen is survived by her parents Mitchell Blaton, Sr. of Florence, SC and Paulette Conrad (Francis) of
Summerton, SC, husband Marcus Sandlin of Ladson SC children, Andy Dubose (Tiffany) Erica Jernigan, Eric
Sandlin, Derick Sandlin, 17 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, brother Mitchell Blaton, Jr. and sister Tammy
Collin.

Family and friends are invited to remember Karen on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 1pm followed by
Memorial Service at 2pm at Simplicity at 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC.
