Obituary of Helen Lorene Wilson

Helen Lorene (Tabor) Wilson, 79 of West Palm Beach Fl died Saturday, October 29 2022, at Agape Lowcountry Hospice House in Summerville SC, following a battle with alzheimer and dementia. She was born June 11, 1943 in Chattanooga TN, the daughter of Kenneth and Nancy Tabor.

Helen worked various jobs throughout her life working for the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority was one of her favorite jobs. She enjoyed traveling and cooking. One of her favorite things was talking to her friends on the phone.

Survivors of Helen Wilson include Children, Bobby (Charlene) Jones Lone Rock WI, John (Fonda) Wilson of Yadkinville NC, Grandchildren, John (Kelly) Grega of Charlotte NC, Marty (Kristen) VanDyke of Port Orange FL, John Wilson III of Lexington NC, Great Grandchildren, Mileigh Grega, Marlee Grega. Carter VanDyke. Special Nieces, Tina Springfield, Terry Thornley, Tammy Bloefeld of Summerville, SC

Helen was preceded in death by her Parents Nanny Kate Hunt, and Alvin Kenneth Tabor, a daughter Mary VanDyke, two brothers John McCombs and Wayne Daniel McCombs (Tabor), and grandson Shayne Wilson

A private celebration of life will be held in November 2022 in Summerville, SC for family and friends. She will be interned at Cherokee NC
