Obituary of Frances W Roumillat

Frances W. Roumillat, age 95, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born March 11, 1927 in Moultrie, GA. 

 

She is survived by her children Douglas E. Dean of Tuscaloosa, AL, Arlene Dean Hill of Charleston, SC, Ann B. Pinson (Jim) of Meggett, SC and stepchildren William A. Roumillat (Debbie) of Johns Island, SC, Virginia Volousky and Cecilia Roumillat. She is also survived by her grandchildren Bridget Conklin (John), Cullen Hill (Jessica), Hope Dachel (Scott), Ashley Schroder (Matt), Talmadge Pinson (Melanie), Dr. William A. Roumillat, II (Linnea), Beth McNealy (Jay), Christine Volousky (Kenneth Davey), JoAnna Simoneau (Pete), and Marcy Haeck. 

 

Additionally, she was blessed with her precious great grandchildren Mackenzie C. Brownlee (Connor), Charles Cullen Hill, Jack Thomas Schroder, Emery and Kiai Pinson, William A. Roumillat III and Blynn Roumillat, Lochlan, Deaglan and Tiernan McNealy, Benjamin Volousky, Nicholas and Jacob Haeck, and Henry Simoneau. 

 

She was known by her family as “Nana” and that was her most coveted title. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius W. “Mike” Roumillat, who was the love of her life. 

 

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 16 at 3:00pm at her beloved church, James Island Baptist Church, 2023 Wappoo Dr., James Island, SC. 

 

Burial will be private.
