Obituary of Charles D Benenhaley

Charles Dennis Benenhaley, 68 of Moncks Corner, SC died peacefully at home on Monday, January 2nd surrounded by his family and friends. His memorial service will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Cordesville Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1999 HWY 402, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Memorials can be made directly to the family. Flowers will be accepted at the Copeland residence at 118 Travis Hill Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Charles (Chuck) was a retired self-employed sign fabricator, born on October 2, 1954 in Hartsville, SC. He enjoyed working in the sign business, watching Nascar racing and playing golf. He was preceded in death by his mother, Miriam Lynch Benenhaley and his father, McKinly Charles Benenhaley. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Benenhaley; his sons, Shane Benenhaley (Jamie), Shawn Benenhaley (Juelya); his daughters Sheree Copeland (Jimmy) all of Moncks Corner, SC and Shannon Benenhaley (Jon) of Harleyville, SC; three grandsons, Brian, Jason Copeland and Dominick Benenhaley; four granddaughters, Savannah, Jalyn and Kourtney Benenhaley and Sarah Mejia; one great-granddaughter, Layla Mejia. He also leaves behind two brothers, Jeff Benenhaley (Diane), Tracy Benenhaley (Sheri) and a sister, Tina Medina all of Manning, SC. He will be greatly missed by us all. We are at peace that God ended his suffering and called him home and he is now back in the arms of his mother and father.
