Obituary of Michael D Hensley

Michael D. Hensley passed away at home surrounded by family in Goose Creek, South Carolina on January 12th 2023 at the age of 68. He was born on April 10, 1954 in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Mike was a family man. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Paula Hensley; daughters Laura Hutsell and husband Ricky of Orlando, Florida; Roxanne Morris and husband Trevor of Ridgeville, South Carolina; son Michael D. Hensley Jr. and wife Kara of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; grandchildren Carlee Hutsell, Hadley Morris, Elloree Morris and Lillian Morris; siblings Mick Hensley, Nancy Jane Bartchard and Timothy Russo.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2PM January 17, 2023 at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, located at 281 Treeland Drive in Ladson, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mike.
