Lynn H. Corson, Jr., age 91, died on Sunday, February 19th. Lynn is survived by 4 of his 5 adoring children; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Lynn grew up in Princeton, New Jersey attending Princeton public schools then on to Princeton University (class of ’53), followed by an MBA from Michigan State University.
In his professional life, Lynn served in various capacities including that of director of human resources for First Boston Corporation, 1st Vice President of Human Resources for Smith Barney, Harris Upham and Corporate Manager of Employment for IBM. Lynn’s business acumen earned him various positions including board of directors on both New York Federal Savings and Loan. He also served as president of the Wall Street Personnel Management Association and chairman of the Securities Industry Association Division of Human Resources.
His great satisfaction was in public service. Lynn served on many volunteer boards including two school boards, one town board, two corporate boards, two State of VA commissions, and Chairmanship of an integrated healthcare network.
However the most important events in his life was meeting and marrying his wife, Joan in 1953; and her passing after sixty-seven years of happy togetherness in 2020.
