Obituary of Nancelle Casselman

Nancelle Casselman, 80, of Jamestown, South Carolina passed away peacefully at home on February 21st, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. 

Nancelle was born on January 19th, 1943 in Orlando, FL and was the oldest of four siblings. She is the daughter of the late Ray Gordon Smith and Helen Louise (Bryarly) Smith. Nancelle was the loving wife of the late Timoth “Timmie” Casselman. They were married for 60 years and had two sons. She is preceeded in death by her youngest son, Thomas “Tommy” Casselman. 

Nancelle moved to Jamestown with her husband and two sons, where she later opened Nancelle’s Hair Place. Nancelle loved doing hair and continued to do so into her seventies. She enjoyed hearing and telling a good story. She loved her family and was a caretaker by nature. She was very knowledgeable of scripture and was a devout Jehovah’s Witness. 

She is survived by her oldest son Pistol (Gail) Casselman of Jamestown; her one and only granddaughter Kacie (Corey) Brown of Jamestown; her great-grandson Garrett Brown, who had her wrapped around his finger; her sister Cindy Wray of Kirkland, WA; sister Linda Manley of Gotha, FL; brother, Bill Smith of Jamestown, SC. Nancelle was loved deeply and will be missed greatly. 

The family will have a celebration of Nancelle’s life at a later date. 

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on March 12th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. 1123 Big Dam Swamp Drive, Andrews, 29510.
