Stacey peacefully passed into heaven late the evening of Feb 7, surrounded by her fiancee, Mark, sweet rescue dog, Lucy, and her massive Peanuts collection.  She fought to the end, a valiant 7 year battle against breast cancer.  

 

Stacey was born Jan 28, 1976 in Knoxville, Tn, to Michael and Alice Wooldridge, and celebrated her 47th birthday 10 days before going home to heaven.  She moved to the Charleston area in her mid 20’s, and was employed with Alltel-later Verizon, for 18 years, until her illness forced her retirement in 2019. She loved the NC mountains and travelled there often with Mark and beloved dog Lucy.  Stacey was one of the kindest and gentlest spirits you would ever want to know. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.

 

She is survived by her fiancee, Mark, mother, Alice, sisters, Kelly (Brian), Jackie (Revel), brother Matthew and 6 nieces & nephews.  She is predeceased by her father, Michael.

 

A joint celebration of life, along with her grandmother, will be held in the spring.
