I remember uncle Nathan falling asleep under our Christmas tree and I thought it was the funniest thing ever. He would plug his phone into the extension cords that were connected to the lights lol. He was always so funny and definitely will be missed.

In memory of my brother Nathen. Nathen was a bit of a jokester. We grew up in Kentucky and we would get up early to meet the school bus, usually in the dark. That didn't slow Nathen down. He would leave early before me so he could hide in the bushes and scare me. He thought that was hilarious.
Growing up we had nicknames for each other, he was Nay Nay and I was La La.
One memory that stands out in particular is when Nathen decided to go live with our Aunt Trula and Uncle Bun. He stayed there for quite some time before returning home. Upon him returning home I remember noticing a profound positive change in his mannerisms, countenance, language, and his outlook on life. Nathen had found the one true hope in life, Jesus.
Nathen faced many obstacles in life. Although, he did not live a perfect life, I would like to believe he was taught that in times of need to call on our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Nothing in life can prepare you for the death of a loved one. The Bible says, "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens. A time to be born and a time to die". Eccl. 3:1
My last conversation with Nathen was a couple of days before he passed. He was bragging on his children, Victoria and Nate. He always spoke positive of them and about how proud he was of them both.
I love you brother, La La (Linda)
