Obituary of Marie Goff

GOFF, Helen Marie Richardson, age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2023. She was born in Aynor, SC to James Burroughs Richardson and Mary Ellen Squires on September 16, 1936.  She was predeceased by her brother Lee Richardson, her sister Lula Lilly, and four additional infant siblings, all of Aynor, SC.  She relocated to Charleston, SC with her loving husband of 67 years, John Lester Goff.  She is survived by her husband, her sons Steve L. Goff (Debbie), Lester B. Goff (Donna) and her daughter Mary Ellen Conner (Jamie).  She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Angela Farr (Ashley), Stephanie Phillips (Mark), Alex Goff (Brittany), Kevin Goff (Samantha) and Patrick Conner.  She loved her 7 great grandchildren, Parker, Evelyn, Jett, Emory, Penelope, Rosie and Waylon.  She loved sewing, camping, gardening and being with family and friends.  Her primary focus was on being a loving wife, caring mother and a nurturing grandma.  She was know for her sense of humor, green thumb, home cooking, adventurous spirit and love for Jesus.

A visitation will be held at her home church of Wando Woods Baptist Church in North Charleston on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 4:00pm followed by a memorial service at 5:00pm.
