Obituary of Robert Mitchell Scogin
Robert Mitchell Scogin
He loved 60’s music and cars, his wife, Karen, their sons Robert and Danny, daughter-in-law Kimberly, grandsons, Tinsley and Ryan, and his pets.
He was addicted to Chapstick, Clemson football and Häagen-Dazs cookie dough ice cream.
In the competition to score the most points with his beloved mother, Evelyn, he was the clear leader ahead of his younger brothers Curtis and Kenneth.
He was loving, tender towards animals and children, especially his little neighbor Owen and Tonya, his surrogate daughter next door. He was a prankster, a hard worker, a protector, slow to anger and quick to laugh. He loved working at Sherwin Williams and his co-workers and wearing suspenders at work.
He is beloved and life without him is like losing sunshine forever. But somewhere in heaven he’s building us a cabin in the mountains and there we’ll gather with all our pets forever. My love, my heart.
