Michael was our Handy Man here on Kiawah. We appreciated that he would be the first to check out the condition of our property after a bad storm. And he was very handy... able to fix everything from decks to sprinklers to wiring. Our heart goes out to his children.

I know i commented earlier about how much we appreciated Michael. I just wanted to ask this out loud. I'm a Biologist. I presume Michael took artificial female hormones. Is that right? That's all experimental. I spent time with an Endocrinologist who published a research paper documenting risks to taking male hormones.... Let alone female hormones. I believe the family may have an opportunity to seek damages for the death of Michael, based on a Dr prescribing him unapproved hormones.

We knew Marissa from seeing her every weekend at the market. We will definitely miss her smiling face. She always took time to stop and chat with us when she would pass by. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time. Ken and Wendy
