Obituary of Ryan Maurees Payne

Ryan Maurees Payne, of Altoona, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 28, 2023. Ryan was only 29 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Ryan was born on November 28, 1993, in Altoona Pennsylvania to parents Katrina Dawn Wilton (Gildea) and Joseph Sean Payne Sr.  

 

Surviving Ryan is Mother, Katrina Wilton. Sister, Courtney Payne (Justin Ward Sr.) and nephews Tristan and Abel. Brother Liam Payne (Sierra Broadman) and nephews Maddox, Maison, and Micah. Sister Kathleen Payne and nieces Charleen, Janelle, and Brielle. Sister Maureen Payne and nephews Derrek and Tyson. Sister Amy Payne and nieces Mandy and Shannon. Joseph Payne Jr. and niece Brianna. Brother, Sean Payne and nephews Sean and Stephen and brother. Along with his Uncle Travis Flaig and niece TT (Theresa, Laura and Michelle Barker). As well as the love of his life until the end, Nancy Mock (no nuts).

 

After Ryan graduated from High School (2012), he worked in different odd jobs, enjoying the variety of life and the thrill of learning new trades.  Ryan had mastered many skills but was thriving in the logistics field prior to his passing. He worked hand in hand with a lifelong family friend, Laura Barker. The two had an incredibly successful business with many pleased clients.  Ryan enjoyed skateboarding, shooting pool, drawing and telling his hilarious jokes. Ryan loved spending his free time being TT’s “perfect Uncle Ryan”.

 

 A celebration of life is being held for Ryan on June 4th at the Altoona Loyal Order of Moose at 1701 S 9th St. Altoona, PA 16602 at 1PM.
