Obituary of Lindbergh Charles Chandler
Lindbergh Charles Chandler, 91, of Hanahan, entered rest on May 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Turbeville, South Carolina on August 1st, 1931. Lindbergh always loved having family around and adamantly always encouraged his kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to work hard. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and a cherished grandfather. He was employed by Westvaco for 44 years while he ran a very successful landscaping business; but his greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a father who loved to take his family on vacation every year. He loved to fish and work in his gardens. He couldn't tell a joke without cracking himself up before he got to the punch line. Lindbergh was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joyce Clara Oden. He is survived by his 6 amazing children: Jeff (Lori), Denise (Tim), Cindy, Michael (Joanne), Stephanie (Brian), and Stephen (Ashley); 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
