Obituary of Danny Lawless

Danny Lawless, 81, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on May 27, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson’s.

Danny was born on July 27, 1941, to Charles Lawless and Dorothy Warner Lawless in Russell County, Kentucky. Danny graduated from Paxton High School in Paxton, Illinois, and began working at Millennium Chemicals. Danny married and had a son, Jeffrey Lawless. In 1979, Danny moved with his family from Illinois to Deer Park, Texas, for his employment. Danny also served his country through his service with the Army National Guard.

Danny later went on to marry Evangeline Delene Holliday in 2002. Retiring after 43 years with Millennium Chemicals, Danny moved with Delene to North Charleston, South Carolina.

Throughout his lifetime and in his retirement, Danny was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed woodworking, welding, gardening, golf, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Danny was predeceased by his parents, Charles Lawless and Dorothy Warner Lawless, sister, Juanita Woods, and brother, Mark Lawless. He is survived by his wife, Evangeline Delene Lawless, his son, Jeffrey Lawless (Michelle), his stepchildren, Chuck Duncan (Lisa), Darla Wiggins (Mark), Timothy Duncan (Joyce); his grandchildren, Kelsey Lawless, Haley Evans (John), Taylor Bost (William), Matthew Wiggins, Levi Duncan, Cheyanne Bolt (Jesse), Cierra Duncan (Nathan Engles), three great-grandchildren, Olivia, William and Sawyer, and a brother, Steve Lawless.

The family would like to thank those that have helped provide care for Danny over the past several years.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
