Obituary of Franklin Leon Godfrey

Franklin Leon Godfrey, 70, passed away June 2, 2023. Leon was born in LaFayette, GA on Dec 3, 1952 to the late James and Muriel Godfrey. He was a graduate of Hueneme High School in CA. He moved to SC in 1980.

Leon is survived by 4 children, Jeffrey Leon Godfrey, Stacie Dottorelli (Ron), Michelle Swaney (Mike), and Robert Thomas Godfrey, brother Jim (Sue) of OR and sister Judy Lee (Terry) of SD, and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Carole Michels and Sarah Holeman.

Leon was blessed with a loving, caring caregiver, Thelma Ogletree.

Service will be at St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be after the service.
