Obituary of Dennis E. Vance

Dennis E. Vance passed away at age 68, Tuesday June 6th at his home in Summerville, South Carolina, from complications of cancer. He was with his family and under the care of Agape Hospice. Dennis was born March 10 1955 and grew up in the Bay area of California, with his extended family. He enlisted in the Marine Corp. in 1979. Honorably discharged, he then moved to Idaho where he drove trucks and became a friend of the family. He married Melissa Crawford (Vance) in 1995 and together had a boy Jean Vance in 1998. In 2021 the family moved to South Carolina where their son is currently stationed. Per Dennis’s request he will be cremated and Jean will scatter his ashes in the ocean.
