Obituary of Amberly Diane Rondestvedt

Amberly Diane Rondestvedt (Flowers) was born on December 7, 1971 in Greensboro, NC to Dalton Flowers and Wanda Perdue. She was one of four sisters (Connie, Kim, & Krystal). Amberly went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 9th, 2023. 

       Amberly was a loving mother to her two children, Andrew (30) and Lorin (27). Amberly also opened her momma heart to many others throughout her time. She was a bonus mother to Cole, John Christoper, Layla, Amity, and Joey. The light of Amberly’s life were here two grandsons, Westin (6) and Kennedy (3). 

       Amberly worked in HR and accounting for over 30 years. She, most recently, worked for the City of Folly Beach as the Business License Official and the Building Permit Coordinator. She was passionate about her job and loved coming to work each day. She adored the people she worked along side, many of those people becoming lifelong friends. 

        Amberly married the love of her life, Zachary, on April 17th, 2023. She adored Zachary with every ounce of her being. He not only loved her just as much, but also stood by her side as she was handed hardship after hardship in the last few years of her life. 

     Amberly was diagnosed with stage four triple negative metastasized breast cancer in November of 2021. She fought endlessly against this terrible disease until it ultimately took her life. To say she was a strong woman and individual is an understatement. 

     Amberly is preceded in death by her mother Wanda and her father Dalton. She leaves behind a large loving family to include many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. She will be greatly missed; however we take peace in knowing that Amberly is flying high with the Angels.
