Obituary of Gwendolyn Ann Ludwick

Gwendolyn Ann Salvo Ludwick, aged 86 years, passed away in the early morning hours of June 25, 2023 at her residence. Gwen was born in Charleston, SC on May 18, 1937. She was one of 4 children of Edward Marrinous Salvo and Roberta Cornelia Jones. She attended Ben Tillman elementary and Chicora high schools. She married Louis Leonard Ludwick (deceased) on July 14, 1956. She was a seamstress for several clothing manufacturers and worked in local department stores.

Gwen is survived by her daughter Karen (husband Allen) with 2 grandchildren, Stefanie and Chris (wife Amanda). Gwen is also survived by her son Kevin Sr. with 3 grandchildren Sean (wife Jessica), Brittany and Kevin Jr. Gwen has 2 surviving siblings, Roberta Jordan and Andrea Massetti-Vickers (husband Bill), with her brother Edward Salvo being deceased. She also has a total of 12 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial is scheduled for July 12, 2023 from 2-4 pm at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation Services located on 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC.
