Obituary of Janet Plyler Davis
Janet Plyler Davis of Summerville, SC passed away on July 26th, 2023. She was born on July 18th, 1952 in Winnsboro, SC. She was the daughter of the late George and Bernice Plyler of Winnsboro, SC.
She is survived by a daughter Shannon Davis of Summerville, SC, and son Tommy Davis of Goose Creek, SC along with his wife Kristina Davis, her sisters Harriet Hodge (Larry), and Sharon Sullivan, Brother-in-Law Harry James Beckham, Sister-in-Law Lila Welborn (Jim), as well as many belove Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends, and a best friend of over 40 years Beth Shaw.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jo Beckham and her brother George H Plyler, Jr.
Janet was a member of Heritage Holiness Church. She was the owner and operator of Kleensweep Cleaning Service. Which was one of the longest running cleaning services in Charleston. She loved animals and was very active in animal rescue in the Charleston area for over 30 years.
Pastor Bob Matthews will officiate a memorial service at the Heritage Holiness Church, located at 3836 Ladson Road, Ladson SC 29456, Saturday August 5th, 2023 at 2pm. There will be a visitation held at the church at 1pm before the service.
A graveside service will be held at Royal Pines Cemetery, located at 1004 Oak Street Ext., Winnsboro, SC 29180, on Sunday August 6th, 2023 at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dorchester Paws, Heritage Holiness Church, or Royal Pines Memorial Cemetery.
