Obituary of Melvin "Bubba" Griffin Jr.

"BUBBA"

Bubba passed on August 10, 2023 at MUSC. Bubba was born January 25, 1964 in Orangeburg SC to Gloria & Melvin Griffin Sr. He graduated at Summerville High school in 1983.

He is Survied by three sisters: Dianne G Dupere-Summerville SC Rita G Balliet (Carl) Awendaw SC Melissa A Connelly (Jay) Niece's,nephew's and lots of loved ones.

Bubba never married nor did he have children

Bubba loved his beer and never missed a opportunity to toast cheers

He strugged alot in life but ALWAYS found a way to bounce back with NO complaints and a smile. He had a small stroke last year and we spoke about his future and life in general. He told me when his time comes to tell everyone "I lived an amazing life and wouldn't change one thing!"

His last 5 years were in Awendaw SC with lots of love and laughter. He met many new friends and traveled alot. He loved playing pool, pack-man, dancing, singing kareokee and making everyone laugh.

He will be missed greatly
