Obituary of Patricia Carter Perdue

Patricia Carter Perdue (68) of Leesville, SC went to be with the Lord in Berkeley County, SC on August 16th, 2023. Pat was born in Dillon, SC on January 12th, 1955 to Virginia Maxine Goodyear and James Hamer Carter, Sr. She attended Brookefield High School in Brookefield, CT. Pat had two daughters, Pamela and Joyce and help raise her two nieces, Lisa and Samantha. She worked as a Butcher for a local grocery chain in her early years and then worked at Padgett’s Gas Station in Fairview for over 15 years until she retired. She enjoyed reading, shooting darts, playing various card games both in person and on the computer, crocheting, and mostly spending time and making memories with her daughters, grand children, and greatgrandson.

Pat is survived by daughters, Pamela Murray (Goose Creek, SC), Joyce Murray and fiancée, Bill Brinson(Goose Creek, SC), Lisa and Keith Altman (Dillon, SC), Samantha Vaughn (Birmingham, AL), grandson and wife Gregory and Kailah Bonnie (Goose Creek, SC), granddaughter, Eryka Murray (Goose Creek,SC), great grandson, Maverick (Mavi)Bonnie(Goose Creek, SC). She is also survived by and uncle and aunt, Buddy and Marion Goodyear whom she was very close to, three sisters, Diane Melancon(New Orleans, LA), Deborah Bachot (New Orleans, LA), Anita Carter(Dillon, SC) as well as three brothers, Donald Yuftczak(St. Petersburg, FL), James (Jimmy) H. Carter, Jr.(Myrtle Beach, SC) and Clifford Carter(Myrtle Beach, SC). Pat was predeceased by her father, James H. Carter, Sr., Mom and Dad, Maxine and Donald Yuftczak, a sister, Joyce Vertein-Elam and a brother, Pisco Carter.

Pat’s daughters would like to invite family and friends to A Celebration of Life On August 26th, 2023 starting at noon hosted at Kim Romaines’ house 931 Lee Gunter Rd Leesville, SC 29070
