Obituary of Trudy Lane Lawson

Trudy Lane Lawson, N. Charleston, SC – age 67 went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Trudy was born September 22, 1955 in Spartanburg, SC, daughter of the late Joney Lawson Sr. and the late Martha Lorraine Lawson. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 1 at 2:00pm at Tri-City Baptist Church,152 Lazy Hill Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. The burial will take place following the service at Riverview Memorial Park on Azalea Dr in N. Charleston.

Trudy was a member of Tri-City Baptist Church in Moncks Corner. She loved her family and was a faithful prayer warrior for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Potter (Joe) of Moncks Corner, SC and Angela Murray (John) of Summerville, SC; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Beverly Cooper (Wayne); brothers, Robert Wayne Lawson (Debbie) and Sonny Lawson (Sharon); and a host of nieces and nephews.
