Nancy Sue Echard Nalepa

September 21st, 1945 - August 25th, 2023

Nancy Sue Echard Nalepa (77) of Bonneau, SC went to be with the Lord in Berkeley County, SC on August 25th, 2023.  Nancy was born on September 21st, 1945 to the late Edna McConnell Echard and James Robert Echard of Scottdale, PA.  She attended Scottdale Joint High School in Scottdale, PA where she graduated in 1963.  Nancy received an LPN Certificate from Franklin Vocational Center of Franklin, PA.  She worked for Home Health Care of Gastonia, NC for 11 years, and Saluda Nursing Home of Saluda, SC as well. 

Nancy is survived by her husband, Anthony J. Nalepa of Bonneau, SC; a daughter, Tricia Nalepa Mayer (George) of Goose Creek, SC; a son, Daniel J. Nalepa of Ashburn, VA.  Nancy is also survived by her sister, Ruth Echard Sigwalt of Scottdale, PA; two grandson’s, George Mayer V of Columbia, SC; Aiden J. Mayer of Columbia, SC; one aunt and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at New Covenant Church of God, 304 S. Pine St. Summerville, SC 29483 on Saturday, September 9th at 10:00AM.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM with Pastor Marc Campbell officiating.
