Obituary of David "Dave" Earl Piersee

July 15, 1949 - September 17, 2023

David "Dave" Piersee, 74, of Ladson, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 17, 2023. His funeral service was held Thursday, September 21, 2023. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetary.

David was proceeded in death by his parents, Greta Wesley and Vernon Piersee and 5 siblings: Terry Ray, Dennis Wesley, Robin Whitehead, Dale Lahl and James Lahl. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Piersee, 4 children Andrew Johnson, Elizabeth (Travis) Gilmore, Megan Johnson, and Matthew (Erica) Johnson, 3 sisters, Sandra Steeley, Denise (Mike) Leonard and Kim Walker, and special mother Lila (Frank) Keedy. Davis is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and 14 grandchildren.

David spent his life in service to our country. He served 24 years in the Army, mostly flying helicopters, and once retired joined Customs and Border Protection where he retired in El Paso, Texas. As many will attest, the only thing he loved more than riding his Harley, was golf.
