Ellen Abbigail Austin peacefully passed away on October 7th, 2023, at the age of 61 in hanahan, SC. Born October 9th, 1961, In Charleston, SC. Abby is survived by her mother Myra Ann Haigler Alexander of Summerville, SC; three children: Jeremiah (Tara) Alexander, Ellen McGrew both of Summerville, SC and Emily (Zachary) Bennett of Goose Creek, SC. Two grandsons: Joseph Burton and Kye McGrew both of Summerville, SC; three sisters: Betsy Austin, Beverly Stephens, and Margie (wallace) Kowalczk all of Summerville, SC; two brothers: Ralph (Annette) Alexander JR of Cottageville, SC and James (Tama) Alexander of Summerville, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

Abby was preceded in death by her father Ralph Alexander Sir, brother Cleveland Alexander, and Nephew Jason Daily.
