Obituary of Nancy Jane Blair

With a great sorrow we announce the passing of Nancy Jane Blair of Awendaw South Carolina. She went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2023 at age 86. Nancy, lovingly known as Nanabanana passed away surrounded by her loved ones. The Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on November 4, 2023 at Gateway Community Church, 3537 S. Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner , South Carolina.

She is survived by her children: Dale Robertson (Trixie), Theresa Marshall (Carl), Lester Robertson; Grandchildren: Alicia Cuppy (Dean), Mindy Brigham (Joel), Joe Robertson (Jenny), Jason Foster (Teresa), Aaron Foster (Janice), Brandon (Tabitha), Elaina Parker (Mat), Brandi Robertson; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. 

Nana was born February 14, 1937 in Groton, NY and adopted by Herbert and Gertrude Porter where she lived in Randolph Massachusetts .  

Nana loved her large family and large gatherings especially at Christmas time. Nana enjoyed her Huskies, traveling, shopping, Christmas, Watching Hallmark channel, meeting new people, sewing, cooking, decorating cakes, dinner cruises, and Stingrays Hockey. In her younger days she worked at Mattel, and worked as a nursing assistant, Later in her life, she provided a friendly face and joyous attitude to all those who visited the Maritime Museum at Patriots Point. She is Deeply Loved and will be Dearly missed.
