Obituary of Charles W Dodds, III

Charles W. Dodds III was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He was taken from this world suddenly on October 13,2023 at the age of 38. He was born September 27, 1985 in Jacksonville, Florida and is survived by his father Charles (Chuck) Dodds of Edisto and mother Helen List (James List) of Ridegeville. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, five beautiful children: Maryjane, Gracelyn, Charles, Elijah, Silas; grandchild Marilyn Ann; brother Christopher Dodds;sister Melissa Gallego; niece Helayna;nephew Luke along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. Charles was a deeply caring soul who was completely dedicated to his children and was a champion in the eyes of his family. He prided himself in his ability to make us all laugh with his amazing sense of humor, entertaining others with his gift of gab. He was an all around good guy who enjoyed the outdoors, bringing happiness to his childrens hearts and loved activities with his family. An extremely talented electrician and a jack of many trades, he used his skills to help those in need. Charlie had a contagious smile and a charming personality, which assisted him in being an enormous flirt. He will be missed deeply by his adoring family and many friends. A memorial service will be held to honor his life at 2pm on October 27, 2023 at Simplicity Memorial Services located at 7475 Pepper Mill Parkway, North Charleston SC.
