John A. Gorman

1945 – 2023

John A. Gorman, 77, of Summerville, passed away on October 25, 2023, with complications from Pneumonia.

John attended Johns Hopkins University and graduated from Loyal College in Maryland. John worked nearly 45 years in the Maritime Industry as and Account, Finance Officer and Comptroller.

John was a wonderful, kind and generous person and will be dearly missed.

John is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Mike Urbain, son Daniel and daughter-in-law Dusty McLain, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and siblings, Kathleen Gorman and Stephanie French.

The family will receive friends on Tuesdasy, November 7, 2023 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Simplicity Lowcountry, Ladson, 281 Treeland Dr. Suite C, Ladson SC 29456.
