Obituary of Mary Corbett

Mary Elizabeth (Lib) Corbett, 75, widow of Donald Ralph Corbett Jr. died Friday November 2, 2012 at Roper Hospital. Born in Florence SC, Mrs. Corbett was the daughter of the late Charles Leroy and Rebecca Leola Matthews. She grew grew up in Scranton SC and lived in the Charleston area since 1954. Mrs. Corbett (aka “Biscuit Lady”) was retired from Hardees in Ravenel and RL Electric, where she was the CEO. She was a member of Faith Holiness Ministries of Ravenel. In addition to her parents and her husband Ralph, she was preceded in death by a loving son Charles Scott McClam. Survivors include one Sister Grace Floyd and one Brother Oneal Matthews of Lake City. One Son and Daughter-in-Law Daniel (Danny) and Kimberly (Tootie) McClam of Summerville, two Daughters and one Son-in-Law Jacqueline (Jackie) Still of Summerville, Angela (Angie) and Ted Haydel of Adams Run. Eleven Grandchildren which include Candace and Randy Moore, Justin McClam, Tiffany McClam, Marissa McClam, Robert Czarkowski, Vincent Haydel, Corbin Haydel, Levi and Jesse Haydel (The Twins), Joseph Chase, Jasmine McClam, and Jackson McClam. Three Great Grandchildren which includes Chandler Deguzman, Skyler Moore, William Moore, Jacob McClam and Sophie McClam. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 2:30 pm, at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services 7475 Peppermill Parkway on Ashley Phosphate Rd. Family will recieve friends beginning at 12:30pm until service time.
