Thomas Earl Collins, Curry by birth, of Eutawville, SC died July 10, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving Family at the age of 79 years.

He was born on June 2nd, 1942 in Florence, SC to Andrew and Dora Curry, later adopted into the home of Lora and Ella Collins of Pamplico, SC.

Tommy is preceded by death of his birth parents, his adopted parents, 6 siblings: Robert W Curry, Dorothy Curry, Thelma Curry, Daniel M Curry, Garland G Curry, Wendy L Curry and three former wives.  He is survived by his fourth Wife, Wanda Faye Collins, her two sons, his daughter Tammy Earlyn-now Tamra L Uppstrom, his two sons: Thomas Earl Collins Jr. Timothy Scott Collins, and his sister Wendy Smith.  Mr. Collins left claiming 6 grandchildren.

Known to most, by Tommy, Dad, Brother, Papa, friend, and loving husband by his 4th wife of 6 years.  Mostly known to be a fun-loving man that was always open to making new friends and at the least, the life of the party. Lived by his own advice, “Spend a dime more and go first class

Tommy was 15 years retired from MeadWestVaco in Charleston after 31 years of service. He previously enjoyed his laborious positions working outside with local Tree Companies for many years.  He loudly cheered as a fan of University of South Carolina Gamecocks, even when it was a family rivalry against the Clemson University Tigers. During his last years, he enjoyed visiting the North Carolina Mountains and spending quality time with his family and friends nearby.  

A celebration of life memorial will be held July 30, 2021 at 3pm located at the Simplicity Low Country Cremation and Burial Services, 281 Treeland Dr. Ladson SC for family and friends.
