Obituary of Patricia Lee Carver-Erickson

On Monday, August 2^nd, 2021, Patricia Lee Carver-Erickson, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 67.

Patricia was born on February 18^th, 1954 in Sweetwater, TN to Charles and Betty Carver. She spent her childhood in San Francisco, CA before returning to Tennessee to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Tennessee Wesleyan University. There, she met Ralph Erickson who would become her husband of 47 years.

Patricia and her husband lived in Tennessee, New Jersey, and Maryland before settling outside of Allentown, PA, where they raised their two sons. In 2019 she and her husband retired to Charleston, SC.  She was well-respected and acknowledged while working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, as well as several hospitals before later devoting her time to raising her family, which was her passion.

Patricia spent her time homeschooling her sons, which was something she proudly dedicated herself, cherishing the time with her children.

Patricia was very passionate about her faith and exemplified it in her life. She made an effort to lead by example and hoped others would see how God worked through her. She was always thinking of others in life and their needs above her own. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and eldest sister. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; her two children Ralph II, Adam and his wife Hannah; and three grandchildren, Zelda, Lily, and Titus; her brother and two sisters.

Patricia will be honored on Wednesday, August 11^th, 2021 at Seacoast Church – Mount Pleasant, SC at 11 o’clock a.m. followed by internment at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to The American Heart Association or the National Kidney Association.
