Mr. Barnes was presided by his parents Georgiana Fredrickson Barnes and Larry Joe Barnes.

Mr. Barnes is survived by his loving wife, Stella (Laling), his children: George (Melissa) Cruz, Ginger Lee Brandon, Dale (David) Osman, Vincent (Jennifer) Barnes, Larry Jerome, Selena Elizabeth, Preston Steward and 4 adopted children, Juditha Rogers (dec), Paul (Nancy) Zamora, Jesse (Tonya) Zamora & John Barnes. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren: Morgan, Makena, Mason, Tia, Vincent, Jacob, Juliana, Jeston, Joshua, Jacob, Sophia, Alexa and Chelsea and 11 beautiful great-grandchildren: Dominique, Kelli, Wolfgang, Jude, Leilana, Laci, Lilah, Londyn, Lexie, Aria, Canon and Rohna, as well as a sister, Carrie (Mark) McKinley.

Larry was a 21 year Air Force veteran who traveled the world during his military and DoD career as an Intel Analyst for the DoD which he retired from after 20 years of service.

A true history, plane and movie buff AND boy, does he love his guns! Larry also loved the olde time country music, esp Hank Williams, dancing a jig or singing along while listening to his music.

Did I tell you he loves history? Larry would quiz his children and grandchildren with history questions to get them to thinking of how America came to be. He loved to joke and tease. He loved nature. Larry is a very loving and giving person who is always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who might need it. He is well loved by everyone and will be dearly missed. Larry was a good, loving father and grandfather and a husband who stood at his wife’s side through thick or thin.

The family requests no flowers, but in Larry’s memory, and in keeping with what he would have appreciated, please do something kind for a loved one or stranger.
