Obituary of Mary Douglas Grooms

Mary Douglas Grooms, 63 of Ridgeville, South Carolina, passed away September 17, 2021 at Colleton Medical Center.

Family and friends are invited to join her memorial service on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Simplicity Low Country Cremation and Burial Service. It will be held at the Ladson location, 281 Treeland Dr. Ladson, SC 29456 from 10-12 a.m.

Mary was born August 5, 1958 in Lumberton, North Carolina. She loved to go fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. She loved spending time with her family over a good meal. She was predeceased by her Mother Piccoula Edwards, Father Dalmer Todd, Brother Rodger Todd, Brother Buster Todd, and Sister Louise Smith.

Survivors include her husband Bucky Grooms and two sons Kevin Jones(Bethany),  Sonny Jones and a step daughter Karen Grooms. She also had two brothers Terrell Todd, Pete Todd, Raymond Todd.  She also had two sisters Lisa Muckenfuss, and Kathy Todd. She had 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
