Obituary of Mary Taylor Evans

Mary Taylor Evans, 58, of Ladson, South Carolina passed away peacefully on April 4, 2018. She was born on November 30, 1959 in Wilmington, North Carolina to Minnie (Sharpe) Spence and the late Sam Taylor. Mary is survived by her two sons, Joey (Elleine) and Jason Evans, their father, Mike Evans of Charleston, her longtime companion, Max Baker, and her loving grandchildren: Ravan, Taylor, Jalyn, Layla, Joseph, Jordan, Michael, and Julian. She is also survived by her sisters, Sarah Tuttle of Summerville, Rita Hartsfield of Carolina Beach, NC, and Judy Via of Manassas, VA, and several nieces and nephews. A beloved wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother, Mary always put others’ needs before her own. She will be remembered for her comforting and welcoming nature to everyone she came in contact with. Her family, friends, and customers will forever carry special memories of her in their hearts. The family will receive friends at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services – Summerville/Ladson Chapel (281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456) on April 11, 2018 at 12:00PM with funeral services taking place at 1:00PM.
