Obituary of Jay Allen Bender

Jay Allen Bender was born on September 10, 1969 in Spain to Barbara and John Bender.  He departed this life on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Trident Medical Center due to a heart attack. 

Jay graduated from Summerville High School and continued to learn the trade of cabinetry. He worked as a lead installer for The Cabinet Shop, Inc. for 30 years. 

He was married to LaDonna Bender on October 31, 2015. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jayla and Jayden; mother, Barbara; siblings, Theresa (Sean), Hope and Daryl (Sharon); step children, Christopher and Shawn, his mother in law and sister in law. 

Jay Bender (my dear husband) you will always be in my heart, my mind and in everything I do. You have been an amazing dad, step dad, and husband.  We will all miss you! I promise you- you will never be forgotten and we will all see you at the Golden Gate when it's our time to go.
