Obituary of Donald Earl Dearing

Donald Earl Dearing Sr. 66 of Goose Creek, SC the son of Edward and Palma Dearing passed away on Thursday March 7, 2024. He retired after 27 years at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and then retiring from Southern Style Boiled Peanuts where he became known as "The Peanut Man".  Donnie was born on October 25, 1957, in Charleston, SC. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren watching TV and taking trips to the mountains of North Carolina. Donnie always had a smile on his face and loved to make people laugh. He is survived by his wife Barbara Dearing, sons Donald Earl Dearing Jr, (DJ), Robert Reynolds, Less Carlisle, daughter Donna Marie Dearing, Casey Flowers, his grandchildren who call him "Poppy" Summerann Harley Marie Dearing, Logan Ann Marie Buchanan, Dallas Donald Earl Dearing, Teagan, Tanner, Selena, Reynolds, Adrians and David. brothers Edward Dearing Jr., Clifford Dearing and his sisters Shelly Ann Harver Causey (Frankie Causey), Tamara Ellen Drew (Donald Drew). Donnie has imprinted on so many lives, he will be sadly missed and loved forever. 

His funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 19, 2024, at Simplicity Lowcountry 281 Treeland Dr., Ladson, SC, with family and friends gathering at 10:00 a.m. and the service to begin at 11:00 a.m.
