Obituary of Danny Steven Abernathy

Danny Steven Abernathy of Moncks Corner,46, known best to his friends and family as Steve or "Tiny" passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 in a local hospital with his sister holding his hand. 

He was born June 11, 1977 in Germany at and Air Force base. In 1987, the family settled in Summerville, SC. 

He had been disabled since 2013, but before that he worked at Quality Marble, SKF as a machinist and was self employed.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.  

He leaves behind his sister, Candy Abernathy, brother in law David Martin of Moncks Corner, a neice Tessa Abernathy and two great neices Gabby and Elaina and great nephew Nolan also of Moncks Corner. He is preceded in death of his father, Danny Abernathy and mother, Lynda Abernathy.  

We will not be having a service, so if your wanting to remember Steve, look to the sky and toast a drink or snack for him.
