Margaret Elias “Liza” Womble 

Liza Womble passed away peacefully on March 29, 2024 in Goose Creek, South Carolina at the age of 44. She was born on August 23, 1979 in Charleston, South Carolina. Liza was known for her bright smile and willingness to help others without hesitation. Her greatest joy was teaching, a passion she fulfilled at Ridge Christian Academy, where she taught second & third grade. She was a devoted member of Crowfield Baptist Church. 

 Liza will be dearly missed by her mother, Shelba Morgan, father, Phillip Morgan, brother, JP Morgan (Spouse Vannah), fiancé, Scott Benefield, daughters Jennifer Womble and Shellie Womble, as well as her church & work family. Liza graduated with her Master's in Education. She cherished spending time with her loved ones, going on date nights with Scott, & traveling with her family any chance she could. Liza mostly loved spending time with her daughters, either going to movies or just trying to do everything they really wanted to.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Liza's Memorial Fund.

A service will be held to honor and celebrate the life of Liza Womble on April 6th 2024 at 2pm at Crowfield Baptist Church. May she rest in peace.
