Obituary of June S Smith

Goose Creek-  June was born in Charleston, SC to the late Edward Eugene and Marth Gloria Goodwin Snipes. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by two brothers, a sister and her husband, Stephen T. Smith. 

June is survived by two sisters, her children Chrissty Harter, Stephen (Kathy) Smith and Sherry Smith; grandchildren who affectionately called her "Mawmaw", Joe Barfield (Sara Nan), Greyson Harter (Kendall Mahmood), Mackenzie Harter (Garrick Murray), Jessica Duncan (Patrick), Brian Mosley (Abbi), Brandon Mosley (Ashley), Brittany Hayes, Dalton Burbage (Brianna), and Chloe Burbage;13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

June was a long standing member of Sorority, Beta Sigma Phi and had a lifelong career as a Deli Manager with Piggly Wiggly. 

A Memorial Service will be held at her church, Creekside Church, 506 Saint James Ave Goose Creek, SC on Saturday April 6, 2024 at 1:00pm.
