I am going to miss Mike’s yearly visits. He would call (sometimes he even just showed up at the door) and say he was coming home for a visit .We would make our yearly visits to the same family members every year and I used to love listening to him tell stories of his life in the Navy which was very interesting since he was stationed in different countries through out his career. I remember the stories always having a “Anyway, to make a long story short” in them.
He wasn’t one for showing his emotions but you usually knew how he felt.
I’m thankful he gave me three beautiful, caring, nieces, each unique in their own way.
He will be missed very much.
