My condolences to the Cooper family. I know first hand there is no words to sooth or bring any comfort during this time. It really sucks. I just lost my dad January 14th and today was finishing scanning in photos when I came across a "legendary" picture of Chris. My dad (and mom) worked with/under him back in the day at Richland Products. I don't remember the exact context but I believe your dad (Im making an assumption that you the reader is one of the kids) lost a bet? I'm not sure if his dislike of the Steelers continued but back then, this was a big deal. I actually remember this photo being pinned up on the builten board in my dads office. Which I may have forgotten to mention is Chris McBride. I have only a handful of super vivid memories of your dad and even going to your house but there is one... that my parents or myself could never ever forget. I really hope this makes you chuckle because its kind of embarrassing to say out loud even now. I was going through a stage? Mind you I was a little kid but I bit Chris Coopers butt at Richland Products. Mortified my parents but made EVERYONE laugh, including me cause I was a ridiculous little kid. Even after 20 years my dad would still get embarrassed thinking about it all over again. Any who I really hope that silly memory brings even a twitch of a smile to you.

He asks my brother, Steve Calendine, were joined at the hip throughout high school at Big Lex. He was a regular at our house because we lived just down the street from the school. Always joking around, but also very polite and kind, he was much loved by us!
