Obituary of Christopher Bryte Cooper

Christopher Bryte "Coop" Cooper, 63, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, passed away on January 1, 2024. He was born on November 19, 1960, in Ashland, Ohio. Coop was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Coop had a zest for life and cherished spending time on his boat, especially with his children and grandchildren. He found solace in the gentle waves and the warmth of the beach. Coop's love for his family was evident in every moment spent together, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.

He is survived by his son, Dillon Christopher Cooper, his daughters Paige Elissa Payne (BJ) and Taylor Leigh Garcia (Daniels), and his grandchildren Kyle Kester, Kaiya Payne, Kage Payne, Kassius Payne, Saphrin Garcia, King Payne, Alonzo Garcia, and Krosby Payne. Coop is also survived by his brother, Craig Cooper, and his sister, Mindy Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Constance Wolf, and his father, William Cooper.

Coop received his primary and high school education in Lexington, Ohio, and went on to pursue higher education at Bowling Green University.

The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Simplicity Lowcountry located in Bluffton, South Carolina. The family will be forever grateful for their assistance during this difficult time.

In memory of Coop, a private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life and honor his legacy. His loved ones will find comfort in sharing stories and memories of their time together.
