Obituary of Steven Q Wood

Steven Quiring Wood passed away on July 1, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his only son Christopher Galle Wood, his granddaughter Sarah Ishida Wood, his brother Stuart Wood, his two nephews Jeffrey and Bradley Wood, and his fourth wife Barbara. Steven was born in McPherson, KS on September 5, 1941 to Edwin Wood and the former Virginia Quiring. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in business. In 1981, he founded Creative Retail Packaging, Inc. in Kingwood, TX. His idea of convincing retail stores to purchase high quality packaging was a unique idea that transformed retail business. He will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
