Obituary of Christopher "Christy" Todd

God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best, when he called Christopher “Christy” Margaret Todd to her eternal home, while her family was at her side, on the morning of September 27^th, 2018 in Goose Creek, SC. She was born on October 14^th, 1961 in Biloxi, Mississippi to James “Jim” Bryant III and the late Christopher “Chris” (Wood) Bryant, and a few years later became the older sister to James “Bo” Bryant IV. She was a 1979 graduate of Merritt Island Highschool and married Dwayne Todd on April 18^th, 1980 in Merritt Island Florida. Her obsessive attention to detail made her quite the Jill-of-all-Trades early on in her adult life as she excelled with various office roles including in her father’s print shop and other companies who were lucky to have her. As she was blessed with her children, Ryan, Aaron, and Natalie Todd, she decided to apply herself to her highest calling of being an amazing stay at home mom, homemaker, and devoted wife for over 38 years.  Everyone is saddened at the loss of Christy, and we will all miss her dearly, but we are happy that all of heaven’s coffee table books will be organized alphabetically and knickknacks will now be facing the proper way. Christy formed deep and meaningful connections with everyone she met, and was considered by many to be a “surrogate”, “second”, or “other” mother, as she is survived by a list of loved ones longer than Wikipedia. Family and Friends are invited to celebrate, reminisce, and raise a glass to her memory from 10:30 – 2 pm on October 13^th, 2018 at “The Room on Meeting” in downtown Charleston.
